Sunday School

Home / Sunday School

Our Parish offers Sunday School classes in the refectory after Holy Communion every Sunday. This is intentional, for the Divine Eucharist is the very centre of our life in Christ, and everything we teach flows from our communion with Him.

Children of all ages are warmly welcomed to participate. The Church calls parents and godparents to nurture their children in the faith, and Sunday School is one way our community fulfils this sacred responsibility.

Our lessons include a variety of subjects and activities tailored to both our youngest children and our teenagers. Through Scripture, the lives of the Saints, Orthodox hymnography, iconography, and hands-on learning, we seek to plant seeds of faith that will grow and blossom throughout their lives.

The main purpose of Sunday School is not simply to learn information, but to help our children grow in a living relationship with our Lord, God, and Saviour Jesus Christ within His Holy Church.
